My mother is a meddlesome brat. Apparently, she believes that I have no friends besides Hatter and I need to get out more. I have friends. I have Charlie and Jack, granted I haven't seen either of them since we left Wonderland but they're my friends and I have the people in my classes.
I hate the way she talks about me, like i'm this sad little shut in. I'm perfectly happy here with my job and Hatter and I have friends.
I do miss Charlie though. Days spent listening to him ramble and I still find myself humming that nonsensical song of his. I wonder if I could find a way to visit him. All though, knowing this place, he is bound to show up sooner or later. Probably in the middle of the night on Main Street in full armor.
It is his style.
Anyway, I am going to take a hot bath and hope that this pain in my shoulder goes away. |
